Once you approve the quote — we confirm the booking with the shipping line or airline and send you a written booking confirmation within 2 hours. This includes vessel name, voyage number, estimated departure and arrival dates, and all contact numbers for the shipment.

For door-to-port or door-to-door shipments — TTI arranges pickup from your warehouse, factory or supplier address in the origin country. Our partner network covers UAE, Singapore, Germany, UK, Canada, USA and all other major shipping origins. Cargo is transported to the port or airport and packed into your container or air freight consignment.

All export documentation is prepared and filed — Bill of Lading or Airway Bill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin where required, and any product-specific export licences. We also verify your IEC (Importer Exporter Code) and AD Code registration before the vessel departs — preventing port delays at the Indian end before your cargo even sails. Export clearance is completed before the vessel or aircraft departs. You receive copies of all documents by email.

Your cargo is in transit. Sea freight to India takes 6 to 20 days depending on origin and destination port. Air freight takes 2 to 3 days. During transit — you receive a vessel departure update, a mid-transit position update and an arrival notification when the vessel reaches Indian waters. Three touchpoints. No silence.

TTI works with experienced licensed Customs House Agents at all major Indian ports — JNPT Mumbai, Mundra Gujarat, Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata and ICD Tughlakabad Delhi. The Bill of Entry is filed before vessel arrival. For regulated goods — electronics, toys, chemicals — BIS certification requirements are checked and advised before shipment to avoid delays at port. Duty payment, examination if required, and Out-of-Charge order are all managed by our CHA on your behalf.

For door-to-door shipments — TTI arranges inland transport from the Indian port or airport to your final delivery address anywhere in India. We use trusted transport partners across Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and all other major cities. Delivery confirmation is sent to you with proof of delivery.

Once your cargo is delivered — you receive a delivery confirmation with proof of delivery documentation. Your final invoice is issued within 24 hours of delivery — itemised, GST compliant, ready for your accounts team. And we follow up within 48 hours to confirm everything arrived as expected and to address any questions.
